rear wiper problem

i need to change the wiper blade on the rear of my 2nd gen surf but the screws on the bracket that makes it go back up into park position & that hold the blade onto the arm are all rusted & rounded off
i may have to grind them off as i have tried mole grips and they are now all mangled
can i get another from anywhere?
do you know if the arm from roughtrax has one on?

Hi Shaggy.you can get a new arm from halfords but you need to get it for a hilux but i cant remember which one tho.If you go to halfords have a look at the arms and you will see the one you need.

the problem is with the landing bracket that goes on the end of the arm that holds (or seems to) the wiper and allows the arm to slide back into park position. it has 2 screws in it and it is these 2 screws that are fluffed

cheers its been a nightmare to be honest and thats why i wouldn't open it till it was right
converting the old snitz forum and integrating all the info into the phpbb/nuke website was to say the least a headache
but its done now
the breeders directory is set to be the biggest for parrots within the uk so should stop a lot from paying twice the price from garden centres and dodgy pet shops

i am almost certain that halfords had a arm with the park bracket bit with the kit.you may have to buy the complete arm with the locating bit tho thats the only thing cause i was looking at getting one for my old 2.4 but it sold b4 i could get one.
it may be a 88 hilux i'm not too sure
