Ok post your woes of offroading over the weekend on here.
i'll start i broke my fog light
Foglights must be regarded as a CONSUMABLE on Surf- like an oil filter or something.
I had guy following me round The Quarry yesterday in a Range Rover. He couldn't wait to tell me I had busted some expensive looking box of clever electronic wizardry off the bottom of my Surf. He was gutted when I explained it just was my foglight held on by velcro....
Still at least the towbar takes the big hits now instead of the exhaust and foglight.
CLAIRE never stopped smiling all day i think its just a minor setback.
Its great that she's still keen, despite roasting the poor clutch, and will be back again. People with less balls would have fixed it and avoided getting muddy again.
Feel a little guilty that we got split up in different groups, I couldda saved Claire the pain with a quick bit of advise had I spotted the clouds of clutch smoke at the start!
Maybe a quick bit of help next time we're out, for carefree manual gearbox offroading!
Linda's got a large mystery dent in a rear quarter bumper, good job it already had a small one, and we now have a spare bumper soon. Must have been that did it!
