  • day and a half wasted

been wanting to make a set of prerunner style bars for the front for a while now so with a week off thought i would give it a go.
first pic shows what i had in mind, made mine off the car when they started to take shape went to offer them up to see how they looked only to find i had made a complete pile of poo.
why do they look so $$$$? the bits masked up are polished stainless the rest was going to be black.
i suppose this style of bar needs to be higher with bumper removed

doubt it... as long as it doesn't obscure the headlights or have knives attached!

                          Bingo, deffo loose the bumper.

I'm half way through a set to hold a winch for Linda's truck, the trick is getting them tight to the grill and high up so you gain approach angle and looks nice.

my bumpers got some nice big rust holes around the brackets so wouldn,t be missing much to skip it
