  • New boots for The Plain

    Hello

Me and Linda fitted 33'' Machos and Land Cruiser springs to the truck today.

Took it up the valley to try them out. The pic of the valley in sun was last Sunday. The next pic was this afternoon in the fog. We were above the fog in the sun at about 1500', the valley was freezing.

Can't wait for the Plain next week.

It feels a bit more slippery on the road than my other tyres. It also does not pull up hill as well as it did.

            STILL waiting for me shocks

They are 33x12.5 on 16'' rims.

The valley we have used is Forestry commission that they think has been made 'off limits' - how little they know.

Between the Maesteg and Garw valley's there is an enormous forest completely uninhabited. Just some loggers and kids on motor bikes.

Its slugsie and jokers fault - I came all rubber fetishist the first time I seen some Machos - and they do look chunky LOL

Richard - to get them off you'll find me mucking about in the deep mud
