I have to confess, I bought a kit in the end, but I added my own 10mm LEDs.
All I need is a red diffuser now to make the LEDs blend together more.Comment

You could try that glass frosting stuff on a piece of acetate sheet. Not
prismatic, but should make a decent diffuser. How'd you go with the beep,
beep brruuummmm, BTW?

I'm leaving that for Apache to sort out, it's giving me grey hairs!
Everything else works though, a nice blue LED on the dash, doors can be locked and unlocked from about 200 feet away, with a chirp and indicators flash.
Doors lock themselves when the engine is started, and unlock when switched off. (A anti-carjacking feature, can be de-activated with the door button)
It's got a remote boot release feature, but I'm connecting that to my roof lights so I can flash them when away from the truck hehehe!!Comment
