This site is excellent! It's kept me entertained for over an hour and I'll be back shortly. I know there's no accounting for taste but I'd rather wait for a bus or walk than be seen in some of these vehicles.

I only hope that a Surf never makes an appearance on this site.

I spent days reading that forum once. There was some kid on there who said he was going to put a VW G60 engine into a polo, as soon as he passed his test and his nan gave him the car. He reckoned he just wouldn't tell the insurance company.

He got so much abuse, I reckon he's probably killed himself.

Vw did build a similar Polo called the G40 . I drove one , and boy did it go .
A bit of a Wolf in Sheeps clothing .Only a G40 badge on the grille told you wot it was or you thought it was a 1100 with BBS alloys .

Must say though, that irrespective of the lack of utility or taste, some of
those alterations have been done to quite a high level. Some of them are
                extremely well finished, quality wise.

I have actually had one of my cars featured on that site!!!!! They were arguing over whether it was bad or not, not just slating it which is mild comfort...

It's a quality site which still makes me laugh

Well I hope nobody ever sends a picture in of my pride and joy

And I don't want to see any 'It doesn't look to bad apart from the colour' comments!
