failed on a few silly things front pads, handbrake, service brake? shoes maybe? i'll need to have a look.
sharpe edges on front bumper because being a tw@t i didn't put the bumper corners back on after i broke one doing bodylift (don't ask) and lost/recovered one at salisbury.
the real pain is the emissions, and as most will know the smoke problem has been ongoing for a while, and even after employing all the usual tricks, i still didn't get the emissions down anywhere near enough.
it's nothing though is it, the brakes are easy enough and really just a service, but the emissions problem will get solved. my brother took it for the mot at his work and the guy there knows what's been done to try solve the smoke situation, and reckons it would be worth a look at the injectors. so i'll do that and if that doesn't do it, i'll go from there. at least thry'll have been done and it's something else not needing doing in the future!
Nope. None of it sounds serious. General wear and tear apart from the
emissions. Weren't you supposed to be getting the injectors sorted months
ago? I seem to remember you said you were going to recon/replace them
when you mentioned the smoke problem last time.
i had intended to, but then lots of redex and stp injector cleaner, a burst here and there and a trek out to salisbury seemed to cure it a little. i still wasn't sure if it was good enough, but it had certainly improved. but i've been chucking in lots of different cleaners every week more or less, and if it hasn't cleaned the injectors completely by now, it never will. so i'll just do it now, as the cost of all these cleaners each week will end up overtaking cost to sort it properly.
