1Lgin to 1kg sloes sugar to taste

all in a demijon till next weekend....Then its botteling time

when you have filtered the gin, and you have a bottle full of drunken sloes, refill the bottle with dirt cheap white wine and a little more sugar... in a little while you will have a nice fortified wine, apparently... also blackberry or damsons works very well with gin or vodka

He he thats a good one , I normally make sloe gin chocolate (de-stone and mix with plain chocolate)

Its good fun getting drunk on chocolate
