I reckon I can cope with 3 sticky pads and a couple of clips Matt. I'm fine with anything that isn't electrical and doesn't have the potential to blow up. As long as it's not heavy, dirty, hard to access etc etc obviously.
The truck has about a 1 inch layer of T-Cut on it from the previous owner and I'm sick of trying to get it off. Pressure washer might do it, but I was going for the good old scratchy car wash option. The lacquer's gone already anyway.....
Wasn't intending to insult your abilities.
So I still take it Charlie will be doing it then. Get your pressure washer out Charlie.

I'm not even going to take it with me (now). I was intending on spending a little bit of time with some tar remover removing sticker residue and the adhesive for the black plastic bump strips off the bodywork whilst he was playing with 'spanners' undoing 'bolts' - I think those are the correct terms. Car wash on the way home, stick the dust guard on arrival at Sancho Towers.
Wot's it look like Sancho? any pics or did i miss a previous post
seems like i'm never gonna get a proper one, when i've got the money there's none about and as soon as i'm skint ebays full of em

Could you ask Charlie to take and post a pic of it when he's fitted it.

I kind of perched it on the roof last night and it looks pretty good - kind of extends the line of the roof out so it's level with the tailgate. It comes down over the wiper to about the top of the glass.
If Matt hadn't made me so cross, I'd perch it there again and take a pic of it later

Matt, go and stand in the corner
Sancho, it dont look too bad, not sure about the sticky pads though, everything i stick on with them seems to fall off as soon as it gets warm, i'd feel much safer with a decent screw, i'll wait and see how yours goes,
Not sure about the one in vinces pic, some lights in there might improve it

Everyone likes a decent screw Ian.
It has two little brackets that clip in to the rear window air vent to hold it on - I presume there was an earlier model that fell off everytime it got warm or you went above 50 (not a problem on a 2.4 then ).
I'll try and perch it on there again tonight and take a picture for everyone but Matt.
