New oil has made my engine rattle?

Decided to use vegetable oil in my surf, as recommended by others on the excellent site, however despite using the best tesco's can offer, only after 150mls the engine has started to rattle and is loosing power, any ideas.

And yes i did change the filter as well.

What ratio of veg oil to diesel did you use

WHAT MIX YOU USING ???may need to dilute with more diesel

What do you mean diesel? I used it neat, do you think it needs changing already for some with diesel in it?

The max you should have this time of year without a heater is 50% maybe even less I,m know running on 40% veg oil and it is quieter

Yep its really lively here at the moment, there's me on the machine working for the next 3 or 4 hrs, then a cold ride home on the bike, the missus will be off 'cause i'm late Christmas eh. bah! humbug

What do you mean fuel? I mean I know what fuel is, but you wouldn't use veg oil in the fuel tank as well would you?
