Yeah, it's because it should be 'too short' not 'to short'. It's the didn't-pay-attention-at-school filter kicking in

I imagine it's actually something to do with limited space on servers for millions of glossy signatures.

I think one of the reasons it was stopped was because with all the large sigs the pages were becoming very long.

I liked the sigs, its a chance to have a little fun, IMHO we just needed to police them better. Drews is OK in my book, or maybe slightly narrower.....

and the fact people started advertising businesses or business stuff and for sale stuff in the signatures.
and the replies to posts with sigs for one line of text became way to big, just like post 11 of this thread.
