Sanor horns

They turned up today, Their bl00dy massive!! and about two kilo's a peice,
Matt (DaSlugman) was right i reccon, they come from the armstrong siddley era, I reccon they came off Hitler's staff car, he probably yelled through em at the nuremburg rally The insides look like part of a WW11 wireless set, their in fair condiction but i would like to get the grills and caps re-chromed, caps just twist off and the grills are held on with two screws, i'll respray em either red or blue, should look ok on the bars

i will be getting a couple of sets of nice horns but not sure if i can get the compressor for them tho,but they will look nice by the time they are all polished up and mounted on the surf.i will get some pics up as soon as i get them

now that sounds just like the ones i'm getting

A nice big Ballast Regulator Train which is being taken away for s$$$$ and i am allowed to have the horns off of it.Would be nice if i can get the compressors to go with them and have 2 sets.I have seen a set of these horns on ebay go for nearly £700

You need to rig your Air-con comp to a storage tank, ( and a biggun)

here's the pic of 1 set of horns i got today but they need agood clean-up tho.The only thing i will have to get is a air pump that will push out 10psi to make them work.I am going to try and get the other set tomorrow and see if there is a air pump connected anywhere but i think the horns run off of the trains air supply
