hi8 every body ive been reading this forum for a while
whilst wating fir my surf.. 4 weeks !! but i got it today so i thought i would make my first post..i think sombody else said they smiled all to way back home when they picked theres up... well so did i and it was over 70 miles !! it a 3ltr 2nd gen.... and its now dark out side so i cant see it oh well i will let you know if its still there tomorrow bye for now

I'm Still waiting for mine, a Silver 1999 SSR-XV. Have pictures of it though. Am interested in why you remove anti-roll bars. Anybody know why?

SSR-XV?... wow those japanese boys, working hard with the bag of letters again!

remove the anti roll bar for better articulation i believe but the on road handling would suffer... of corse i could be completely wrong!

Pretty much spot-on, rather than remove the anti-roll bar tho, disconnects can be fitted to them, these enable you to easily (well reasonably) switch from having an anti-roll bar for on road use, to none for off-road

Removed my rear anti-roll bar about 6 months ago and the on road handling didn't suffer at all. Mind you I have got uprated springs and shocks. Also got disconnects on the front - as said above allows more axle movement when off road.

Love it..... Laugh my ******** off while driving it

i use it for work every day, i work on a building site...loads of MUD... iv`e had so much SWAG in the back, i had worn out my window seal... it can carry so much weight it`s illegall, well it would have been if the old Bill had caught me. wot with the headlights acting like Sky Tracker Searchlights, i have even blagged a complete BrickWeave Parking area, and Swagged everything in the back of my Surf, 5 ton of type 1, 3 ton of sharp sand, 40 mtrs of 60mm
brickweave blocks, wacker plate, 2 bags fine sand & then all the crap and leftovers back to site to dump... not Called Dodgy Dave for Nothing.
I dont know why i didn`t have a surf years ago,...

Oh yeah......

i had to lay the Brickweave as my other 4x4 doesn`t climb the kerbs like the surf.... Audi TT 225bhp... roadster.. but to be honest..
my wife drives it most of the time, as it not practical for me..it`s a right ******* to get a 1 ton bag in the boot.. but love it for different reasons.
