  • How much should I ask for it?

    Hi,

We are contemplating selling our Toyota Surf - J-Reg (1992) 2.4 TD,SSR-X, 100.000miles. When I had a look at autotrader I noticed that they are still selling for around £3k-£3.5k which is pretty much the same we paid two years ago. Is there greater demand than supply that keep the prices up? I would have thought it wouldn't be worth more than around £2k. Its in a pretty good shape and has been well maintained and looked after.

Any suggestions on how much try to ask for it based on experience??

    Thanks
    Ola

they might be for sale for that amount, but they're not selling. 2 grand is about the mark.

I was looking to buy a vehicle for 6 months, before finances allowed me to actually purchase. Its a buyers market at the moment. £2000 sounds fair, but I'd expect to be knocked down a bit from that price
