        i bought one 4 years ago with a slip of paper, CE marked that said that it was license exempt!... just always kept that with me!

                    But you guys are still only limited to 10 watts against the 400watts on all bands from 1.8Mhz to 250Ghz that we as amateurs are allowed.....


                    You can get a free licence by giving up a weekend to do a very basic course to gain a restricted licence..

                        You might be right I might of heard someone say that they had relaxed the power level a bit..I know the antenna restrictions were lifted....


                        The foundation Ham ticket is 10 watts across the whole spectrum
