Was rather suprised to see that, my self and a couple of friends own some WW2 searchlights and knew nothing about it!!!!!!

This is curious as we do quite a bit for English Heritage.

Should look good though - pity I'll be over on the IoW by then.

They've just 'turned on' the searchlight, live on BBC local news..

Built it up to be something really special, but it wasn't!
One light, ok it was bright, but the cameras must have been a few miles away, cos the horse looked tiny in the distance.

Glad I didn't go down there to see it!!!
