Dash Warning Lights

I've been trawling the site looking for an answer to a fairly simple question, but so far, no luck.

When I start up the Surf I get the following lights coming on when I turn the key 2 turns.

t-belt light, battery light, water level light, a/t oil temp light

They go off after I fire up the engine, so assume they just come on to show you that they are working.

Not being very knowledgable about the Surfs, I just wanted to check with you guys in case I have a problem.

Thats perfectly normal, worry if they dont come on when you turn on the ignition
