err???, I'm assuming thats a stud/partition wall and not a load bearing wall, otherwise you'll have more than the rear of a telly in that room

I saw an article in a fishkeeping mag where some nutter had taken a whole room in his house (something like 17ft x 12ft) and basically glazed it! He took out the adjoining wall to give him a viewing window and set it up as a reef tank! (Another room was filled with huge professional filtration water treatment equipment.
