    What is the OD (outside diameter) of the standard Toyota A bar as found on the 2nd gens ?

              so why not pad them out or get some smaller ones or ask a friendly fabricator person to knock you up some my son

                you'll need oversized so you can put rubber strips inside, so they grip the chrome... otherwise, after a week, they'll be as floppy as a floppy thing.

                    Just done a search on the net for a floppy thing and all i get are discs and disc drives,
                    will they work
