  • Dash Restoration

Does anyone have suggestions on how I can get my dash to go from dirty black/greening grey to something nicer.

Dash paint needs spraying, which means taking the dash out. I have seen vinyl products that they reckon will do the job, but I think they'll just wrinkle and peel.

Is there any kind of paint product I could apply with a brush and a bit of patience?

    Ta.

I sprayed mine with satin black hammerite. I took the dash out though and gave it a scrub with cellulous thinners first to remove any silicone polish.

BTW, did you drop this t ?

I will probably get one of those (more likely to be fake metal than fake wood, all class me), I was thinking about the curvy bits, like the top and the bit round the steering wheel. Maybe just some of that holts black bumper paint?

Everybody say 'oooooooh'. I will have to get in touch to check that they fit with the V6 gearshift (it's different to on the diesels - no idea why).
