Thanx to all those that made suggestions about batts. I have 2 new ones from Yota.

Where can I take the old ones? will the local council take them at the tip or do i need to drop them off at Toyota?

Put them in the local woods with all the others.

      Please don't actually do that

Your council tip should have a special section for used batteries.....all dealers should also have a special area for used batteries where they get collected every so often.....as you bought genuine batteries they may take your old ones off you.

Top tip.....If you have a concrete driveway and there are oil stains on it, pour the acid from the batteries onto the oil stains and wait 5 mins and hose/brush off. Hey presto, no more oil stain.

                    A lot of them aren't lead/acid anymore.

Peeps round here leave them in the alleys for the kids to play with. They make slugs sizzle and make lovely lacey holes in their jeans.

I have just noticed my bad grammer. I am surprised one of you jokers didn't point out that slugs don't wear jeans.

I knew there would be a comeback about the sizzling slugs.
