got my rears off and not a problem, fitted my front shocks last night and was wondering is it worth binning the front arb as well? with the bump stops un molested will i actually get any more articlualtion to make it worth while?

Removing the front will make a more noticeable difference to handling than
removing the rear, although it's not a major difference. Not sure how much
difference it makes to the front articulation, but it has to make some.

I've run without a front arb for some time but I've got uprated torsion bars. I'm not sure I'd like to try it with standard springs

It's not actually too bad with the standard torsion bars. It handles no worse
than before the new shocks, (ES9000's), and rear springs went on.

Put my front ARB back on last weekend - I couldn't stand the way it skipped about without it. Shocks and torsion bars are 14 years old and got 200,000kms on them though.

Rear ARB is still off - not much difference.

Should be upgrading suspension via 2'' lift before Christmas - I'll try without front ARB then to compare.

taking my rear off made no difference at all, what you got on the back mate? standard stuff?

im on the bushwacker lift, with +4 rears and +2 fronts es3000's. might be worth leaving the front arb on then mate, if your noticing it on 9000's im definatly gonna feel it on 3000's

                      cheers mate

im running with both f/r arbs off,but then im running really light on the front anyway what with the front axle removed and the rover lump and running +3 9000s the truck handles like its on rails.even with the big lift.
