    with so many things to plug in i though one of these http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...2895&criteria= might be a good idea - they seem very cheap, are they therefore likely to melt !!!

    I have one of those. As at it says on the thing, it's only good for 10A. As it doesn't say on the thing, three of the four sockets are 1A. No in-car disco for you.

    Shame, I accidentally ordered two from Maplin and sold one of them on ebay for £1 a week ago....

          I've got the same one wired via a fuse to the battery, use it for sat nav, phone charger etc, never had a problem.
          Laugh!!! I nearly bought my own beer.

            I've got a similar one from Halfords, runs phone chargers and Ipods etc. with no problem...
            Real trucks don't have spark plugs
