Just as a quickie, did anyone ever try the ATF fluid as fuel system cleaner
suggested a while back? If so, any probs or okay? Was thinking of making
up a mix and giving it a whirl.

Good way of blocking the rear shot speed cameras.

I assume it's the one litre bottles you're referring to? Was thinking of popping
a bit of two stroke oil in there as well. Haven't used a certain 'additive' for a
while, , and it's amazing how much more rattly the engine is when it's cold
without the extra lube. Glad to hear it's not an engine killer.

Someone advised a while ago that ATF fluid, (that you use in the auto
gearbox), also had good fuel system cleaning skills. A variation on using
Redex to give the injectors and such like a damn good clear out.

Nice. I'll probably be creating a smoke screen later, then.

Thought half a 5litre bottle might be overkill. Cheers.

Made a mix up earlier of ATF fluid and 2 stroke oil, (roughly a 2:1 mix, which
smells like cat pee when mixed together), and chucked about 100ml in approx
a third tank of diesel. Went for a shortish run earlier, and can't say as I
noticed any smoke puthering out the exhaust, even when I floored it a bit.

Gonna give this a go Matt, maybe a slight increase in ratio? It certainly cant make it any worse, When i picked it up from MOT (a mate of my sons girlfriends dad) i had the pedel to the floor and it crept up this fairly steep entrance to his yard, It's soddin embarasing at times.
