  • Additional cooling fan......

    Hello,

I do some work for a company in Caerphilly who do lots of things with moving air about - air con, chillers, industrial fans etc

Took a pic of their 1200mm fan - see below - I was thinking it should cure any overheating problems......note my coffee cup.

And you should see their 1600mm fan - it looks like it should be attached to a WW2 bomber!

Sound's very much like someone who's been down that road. (And quickly
              reversed back up it).

Thought that Kenlowe fans were supposed to be quite good. Have to say that I have thought of getting one myself, try to keep things a bit cooler when towing the caravan during the hot summers that I am to blame for. Anyone got bad experience of the affore said Kenlowe fan then?

From what I remember, the members who have fitted them have rather quickly
removed them again and gone back to either the viscous fan, or made their
                    own electric fan setup.

You wouldn't need the engine. A boot full of batteries and the fan would drag the truck along.
                      It's only a hobby!
