Ok people, this is a shamless attempt to get more people to have a look in the surfs for sale section on this forum...

I put my surf up for sale on there and hardly anyone is looking at it, not sure if its my not very catchy title or what.

I thought I would try it on ebay later this week and see if I can move it quickly that way. I need the money to pay for my house move/ buying a house ( a boat) and it would be one less thing to think about.

anyone else got any suggestions for ways to sell it? its also on autotrader website, ive bought and sold most of my cars and motorbikes though that website, but maybe ebay is the new way to do it.

(have you been to the bike show? just found out i've dipped out on free tickets, is it really worth 15 quid? )

i was at the bike show on press day and preview day last week. its the usual show to be honest. each year i feel a bit less excited about it, ive been 8 years in a row and now it feels a bit stale. I did some good business while i was there, reaquainting myself with people from BMW and oxford products and suzuki etc ( its always good to speak to people face to face after a year of phone talk), but as for general public, i recon the entry price is steep. if you want to buy something then fine, if you want to go for a mooch/wander, pppfff, not sure i would bother. I got the train there for 10 quid each way.. ( yes i know the company pays for it, but i cant help but try to save money whenever i can and take the cheapest tickets)
so, in a nutshell, if its not free and you dont have to go there to see someone for a business meeting, then i wouldnt bother. ive got my fingers crossed on a bmw longterm test bike next year, i quite like those K1200 R's naked and powerful.

thats ok, you just reminded me...

If anyone, female ideally is needing some bike kit ive got an excellent pair of leather motorbike trousers, ladies size 10/12 Belstaff, sports with knee slider patches and a brilliant Belstaff ladies size 10 winter jacket, waterproof and very warm. ive just been kitted out with a new set and i wont have space for this on the boat ( when i eventually get it) i have bike kit coming out of my ears.. ive also got a pair of ladies water proof textile motorbike trousers, size 10 i think.

Oh and a loft bed frame going for sale...
and a table tennis table... i can deliver it while I still have the surf... after that its collection only.

im selling a few things at the moment as you can see.

I only have womens kit at the moment, and its all kinda smallish.

There may be a massive helmet in the office that I could sell you for trade price... cant remember the make or exact size. Will have a look when im back in the office tomorrow. ( currently got my foot up after an arthroscopy this morning- still abit groggy after the general)

and the table tennis table is a folding indoor one i think, its got wheels. I can give exact sizes if needed. its quite big and flippin heavy as i discovered when we had to take it off the roof of my surf.

will have apic of it in a few mins as ive sent my man outside to photograph it. ( its wrapped up in canvass and tarp)

and ive just discovered ive been guzzumped on my houseboat this morning... chuffing naffed off with the broker as they didnt contact me or anything...
not having a good day really.
