        Cheers Matt. I missed the plot on that one.

        The hot melt won't last, btw. It has adhesion abilities, but no real strength.
        It'll either pull off or rub through shortly. You'd be better off with an epoxy
        for a stronger solution. Easiest way, however, is to sod the coatings and just
        use copper(slip|ease).

          If you did that, you get an instant suspension lowering the moment the springs 'bottom out' it would look worse than having saggy springs.

            I stuck a piece of alcathene water pipe on mine (the bog standard blue stuff). If it wears out in less than a year, I have a 120 year supply.......... so I'll keep changing the oil and filters every 5000Km........
