Can A Bull Bar From Another 4X4 Fit?

Okay, I am now so desperate for a bull bar that I am considering modifying one from another 4 X 4. Has anyone undertaken such a task or does anyone know of a bull bar that can be modified?

I never normally have a problem spending my cash but trying to source a bull bar is like finding rocky horse s***e! I've been looking for over 2 months now and always seem to 'just miss one'!

I'm also considering buying one from Roughtrax and wondered if anyone else had one fitted.

Mate of mine has that Bar,nice and chunky.
Looks good on his truck,will look for a piccy if you want.
Easy to fit too.

What type of bar are you interested..do you have a preference as to the style..ie wrap around or standard surf issue?

Would prefer wrap round if possible but just looking for something with 'prescence' if you know what I mean. The standard A bar is okay it's just that I would prefer something bigger.

Alan, I have seen the black wrap round on Roughtrax (looked at many sites trying to find one, here, eBay, Roughtrax, Milners etc.) but as my Surf has the chrome bumpers I wanted a chrome bull bar to match.

That's the bar I hve on the front of my truck. It's big, solid, and has a certain 'presence' in the rear view mirror of those in front.
