my dad got back from visiting family up north and he had a letter that i sent my gran in 1983!! (i was 6)
it said "thankyou for the one pound"
she'd kept it in her handbag for 23 years, right up till she died earlier this year!!

hehehe!!... best bit is the address isn't exactly written in a conventional format and it's got about 6 post marks and took about 2 weeks to get there!!
