  • Hello from a new owner 3.0 V6

This is my first post here so I’d just like to say hello!

I’ve just bought myself a 1994 3.0 V6 Auto Surf. So far I am very pleased with it, everything seems to be working as it should. Gunmetal grey with Recaro seats and all the toys. It was imported 18 months ago so the bodywork and general condition seems to be good. I will post some pics once I get chance.

I have driven plenty Japanese 4x4 s while out in Africa but this is the first time I have owned one here in the UK (owned Land-rovers, but they don’t compare).

I have not had chance to work out what it is doing to the gallon yet, but so far it doesn’t seem too bad.

    Regards,

    Paul
Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

                      Thanks guys,

I was looking for a Toyota Surf/4-runner and found one at a garage 1 mile from home.
The (Autotrader) add said Metallic Green but it is Gunmetal Grey, (I can only think that the Dealer must be colour blind!

Anyhow the instant I saw it I knew it was for me….. The Dealer offered me a good price on my existing car (Red Toyota MR2), and said he would get a new windscreen fitted to the Surf as it had a crack on the drivers side and it would have 12 months MOT. Took a few days to get the screen fitted but it was worth the wait.

I’d been looking at various photos of the colour options and must admit that I did like gunmetal grey as a colour so I’m pleased with my choice.

                      Regards,

                      Paul
