What BF Goodrich size will fit???

I am looking to get BF Goodrich tyres fitted to my truck when she needs new boots. I went on the website to have a look at the A/T tyres and have noticed they don't make the size that I've got fitted at the moment.

The size that is fitted now is : 265-70R-15 110S Dunlop Grandtreck.

What would the equivilent tyre size in the BF Goodrich A/T tyre??

Can I go for 265/75R/15? I think my rims are J8? The same as yours Vince. Does this mean I can get any tyre that fits on a J8 rim? Is 265/70R/15 the factory fitted size for this rim, or has it had fatter tyres fitted previously??

I believe your tyre size were a factory option anyway. On the 8" rims, you could go to the next size up without probs.

Looking at your earlier pics - you've got standard surf 7'' rims on

Look for this - T 15x7JJ -8 on the edge of your rims.

Dia 15'' x 7'' wide with a minus 8mm off set - yep, lets mix metric and imperial!

Yes, you are right. Mine says T15x7JJ-8 on the rim, with an offset of 8.

So does this mean any 7inch wide tyre will fit? What way does the BFG A/T imperial tyre go compaired to my metrics, is it bigger or smaller than my 265/70R/15 's??

I had the 265/75R/15 's and replaced them with BFG 31's

these are my 31inch Greenways leaning up againt my 265/70/15 road tyres (I forget what brand). As you can see they are just a bit bigger. Gives you a free lift and extra ground clearance.

I think they are maybe around 2inch taller. They fit just fine, and as has been mentioned 31.10.50/15 were a factory fit option.

One thing I have noticed with the bigger tyres, my speedo is much more accurate. It's almost exactly right whereas the 265s were around 5mph out at 70.

Just done a quick bit of maths, 265/70/15s are 29.6inch in diameter, only 1.4inch smaller. Doesn't sound like much, but looks a lot when they're next to each other.
