    would you go to Milners (cheaper) or stevo's for a new head, gaskets etc?

    Thoughts please.

    Without a doubt Give Stevo a call, His heads might work out slightly dearer than anybody else, but at least you'll know you will get the proper gear. and a Genuine head gasket.

    You'll also get assistance of stevo if you need it

        The garage has said i will require head, manifold gasket (inlet and exhaust) head gasket and new thermostat. Anything else i should get? (all the internals are fine apparently)

        Sorry, but im no mechanic, so ignore the dumb ass questions!

          put a new rad cap on aswell.Take a look at Stevo's prices and see if it is worth getting the complete head and inards too just so you know that everything that is being put back is new and is (or should be) good.i would rather spend a bit more now than having to strip everything down again if you got any more probs

            surprised the garage didnt ask for new stretch bolts, they are a must
