Lots of ways
The recovery hook on the front is ok for most of the stuff you'll come up against. If you have two fitted (or find another off a breaker) you can use a bridle to even the load spread.
Kinetic ropes or KERRS are good as long as they are used correctly, can dangerous if abused. I'd just go for a healthy size 10 ton strop with shackles. They fit over towballs on the recovery vehicle.
Even better, purchase one of my lovely winch bumpers on sale very soon!
The rear tie down eye is ok for straight pulls, but watch your bumper. Tow bar is a good point to hang off, if fitted correctly.I NEED TO OFFROAD!

I'm in recovery mode as well - I'm going to blatantly copy these - http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/forums/sh...ad.php?t=26062
for the front, and come up with something to fit to the tow bar - its a Witter, thats held on with 6 off M14 bolts so looks pretty strong.
Pic of the lovely stainless steel shackles delivered this morning, mmmmmAnother member of the 'A' team
