Leak!!

got a small leak seems to be coming from large thing in middle of pic 1

dont seem to be losing any fluids , anyone ?

Hard to see what it is from such a close shoot. Got any other pics from further away?

I'm guessing a bit, but it looks to me like the back of the power steering unit. If it is check PS fluid level. A small weep probably won't be a problem but you can get seal kits for them. Hardest bit is geting it out.

Yeah, now pretty sure it's the PS pump. Large O ring at the back tends to leak first. You can also see the hose connection on the side that should lead upto the PS reservior.

Linda's truck has a small leak out of the back of the P/S pump, I'd guess yours is the same.

Mine's OK but Karen's also as a small weep from the large O ring. Won't do anything about it soon unless the fluid level starts to noticably drop.

cheers tony , brian looks like i'v joined the leaking power steering club will keep an eye on it if it gets any worse will have to visit DR tony
if i try i will end up doing this with the parts leftover

Mines damp around the pump but not dripping and level doesn't seem to be dropping, so until it gets worse I'll leave it alone lol

Hey i got a leak too and i thought it was a fuel leak but it must be the p/steering.
I am also using a fair bit of fuel but cant see a leak anywhere but heyho $$$$ happens
