Crashed the Surf

Hi all, well it had to happen I guess.

Brakes failed and I rear ended a Vauxhall Zafira.

Luckily no one hurt, and thank the lord for Bull bars!

Surf came out unscathed, but poor zafira has some damage.( new tail gate and bumper I expect)

The impact loosened the bull bar and caused a small dent in front bumper(surf) but It'll knock out. Just had to re-align and retighten bull bar.

Oh yeah, and wait for the bill for the third party, Gulp!

Could have been worse,

wot was the fault wiv the brakes though?? is that sorted??

I wrote a Honda Civic off a couple of years ago. Not a scratch on the SURF.
BUILT LIKE TANKS SURFS.

Hi again, the fault turned out to be a fluid leak on one of the pipes, easily sorted.

I guess the moral of the story is to check the brakes before you travel too far from home.

Although I was only about 1/2 mile from home, its the first time I needed the brakes, should've checked them before moving off, but how many of us do that?


Anyway, its only money, and not lives!!
