Sorry - it's not there anymore - long story. Anyway it'll be fairly obvious when you get to that stage. I had to adjust the size of the hole in the inner wing slightly and trim a bit off the flexy pipe - not really rocket science

How is the truck? I remember reading a while back that it was a bit poorly...
      It just does, OK?

Just ordered my Safari 106HF Snorkel from Stuart at GearedToGo.

Got a good deal, I think. Most places were around the £220-240 plus delivery mark.

I was quoted £205 delivered! Bloomin Marvellous.....

                    Hello,

Please take pics of the project and post them - snorkle is one of my winter projects.

I'm doing my diff breathers in the morning.

                    regards

I will. As long as I don't screw it up.....

And let me know how you managed to get at the front diff breather. Not crawled underneath mine to check yet, but with the air con rad underneath, I think it's gonna be a bugger to do....

Apparently, easy screw up is to drill the bigger hole on the wrong side???

I binned my entire air con system a few weeks back - what a result =
quieter engine (idler bearing was crocked)
                        better fuel economy
                        better acceleration (? maybe)
easy to get to ANYTHING under the engine
huge hole where the compressor was = easy access to alternator
lots of thick padded hoses ripped out
probably better cooling - there seems to be gaping holes everywhere - wierd!

Oh - and you can get to the breather!!!!!!

If it gets warm next summer I'll open a window (never did use the air con anyway)
