I think he's referring to the new child seat laws which need a 3 point belt to secure the seat.

Again where does it say you must change them? As far as I am aware if lap belts are fitted as standard that is OK. No need to put 3 point belts in.
(Unless of course you wish to). That is how it was explained to me

The child MUST use the correct restraint, where seat belts are fitted. a child 3 and over may travel unrestrained in the rear seat of a vehicle if seat belts are not available.
in both cases they must use the adult restraint if available (ie lap belts) If your child is under 3 put them in the front seat where you have a 3 point belt!!!

Also would like to fit 3-point. By choice as need to fit 2 baby seats which are designed for 3-point belts. I think my main problem would be finding a suitable anchor point. Anybody done this before or know of any aftermarket suppliers?
            cheers,

Some 1st Gens have a roll cage in the back , like mine and Tonys. On the roll cage is the third mount point for the belts . If you dont have the internal roll cage you can not fit the belts .
I had to take the roll cage out of my breaker to retro fit in my 1st Gen as Sumo had stolen my roll cage . I have the belts but no spare roll cage for you .
