Found an American co. http://www.airliftcompany.com/ that makes rear bags for a 4Runner - they fit inside the springs - just add air and hey presto

The UK dealer mailed me friday with a price (£90) 2 week delivery - I'll order them tomorrow.

I've worked out the plumbing and wiring and gotta get a tank off ebay which I'll fit under the back of the truck (probably an old compressor) and then I'll be ready.

Whilst it will give me a small lift, the main benefit will be being able to increase the pressure to keep the car level - which will be good with the horse box on the back.
