The Nissan pathfinder looks good, but I had the pleasure of riding in one (less than a month old) being used at an airport on the runway when the auto gearbox electronics went, the warrior looks cool ...but you'll all hate me,, the Hummer H2 has a presence and i'd like one... and there's a plus... I'd be the number one target for tree huggers leaving other 4x4's unscathed....
I've gotta say I'd go for something totally impractical
Nissan Skyline GTR (B33 version)
A 2.5ltr V6 twin turbo that can be specced up to a mind boggling 1000bhp - not that they last long at that!
And as many mods available as you can do ...................
Andrew,
If you like the thought of speccing up a car you ought to look at the C5/C6/Z06 Corvettes. You would'nt believe the amount of gear you can buy, from the USA, for these. There are several companies trying to take your hard earned cash off you for the multitude of tuning gear available.
Standard 5.7L V8 pushrod engine (yes, not OHC) 400BHP. Bolt on a Supercharger (loads to choose from) 620BHP. That's before you start thinking about manifolds, exhausts, chipping etc.
