Actually 1 1/2" is the recommend max, but what the hell, I like finding things out the hard way!!!

It was the only way of getting 33's on the front, along with a 1 1/2" body lift. It has manual hubs so they don't turn unless we're offroading. It was only till I got round to putting the front half of the 4" suspension lift on.

      Update!

Oh deary me... T popped a spare diff in today but it hasn't fixed the problem entirely, so there is still more detective work to do.

Good thing is - he still says he will rebuild the old diff with the locker and new gears so I'm still

He might have another one to do soon . Dropped my diff out yesterday and found that I have a chipped tooth on the crown wheel and gear oil up the locker air pipe. Combine this with the fact that the original installers left me with a front seal that leaked oil almost as fast as I could pour it in, then I'm definitely not going back there

Well I've had the locker for a year now so I'm saving the double for when its actually in.

Well he's tried the regearing today as the new diff is lower geared than the old one

Hopefully we'll be ording my new gears next week.
