just called to get a price for new tyres . bf goodrich mts . 265 70 16 for my 3rd gen . bloke tells me they only come in 265 75 16 . ive seen them on 3rd gens will they be ok

I have 265/75-16's on my 2nd gen and they're fine.

i just got a set of same size bf muds, seems to have altered the overall gear ratio. rpms have dropped per speed by about 150, barely noticable. Offroad you squeeze a little clearence.

id say, go for the 75's

oh and by the way
the bf muds are the scale that every other tyre is measured by, simply the best as my recent excursion to argyll clearly demonstrated for me.
