  • Advice needed please

    Hi All.

Just a quicky to pick your brains if I can.

I've got the opportunity to SWAP a new set of 30 x 9.5 x 15 BF Goodridge A/T tyres on 15" alloys, for my near worn 265/70/16 Bridgestone Duellers on Surf 3rd Gen standard alloys. What I need to know is? How would they make the vehicles perform and would it cause any damage to either vehicle, the other vehicle being a Mitsi Challenger.

    Many Thanks

    Trev

Don't do it, you need 30 x 10.5 x 15 9.5's will look to skinny under the wider arches on your 3rd gen.
Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.

That'll be good Linda, thanks. I'm still shopping around so another number wouldnt hurt. The dearest price so far is £545, so I wont be going there...

http://www.micheldever.co.uk/ Got my BFG's there and had the alignment done at the same time - dead impressed that their computers had all the different models/years of surf on with all the correct settings. There was even a surf in the car park...

(Or if you decide to go up to Ian's we can deliver his tyres to you in Stevenage... )

Don't go for the Duellers unless you want good road tyres - they are useless off road as I found out at the Pit on Sunday, nearly didn't even get to the car park.

                    Cheers

He he. I dont think his tyres would get there. I bet they would look better on my Surf.

Thats a good price, talk about the North/South divide???
Trouble is, It would cost me the price of a new set of tyres getting yours from Linda and delivering them to you mate...

What we need is, is a cunning plan.
