  • Help with my spots............

    ...............Spot lights that is!!!

    Put 2 spotlights on my roof bar today, done all the wiring to a relay.
    But cant find/ gain access to the wire that i need to join the relay to, when on full beam

    Can anyone help??

    How do you chande a headlight bulb anyway???

    Erm....I could be wrong but I believe the law states that forward facing lights mounted behind the front axel and over a certain height have to be switched indepentantly and you are not supposed to use them on the highway?!?!?!

    Which means you shouldnt connect them into your full beam circuit.

    When I did the bumper mounted spots on mine I just cut into the main beam wires running to the back of the headlight.

      Well spotted. I joined since the Forest drives i go on are organised by BASHER and he posts details and pics on there. Going to one next weekeknd. I can see how to get to back of headlight

      Was just going to pull out the inline fuse, there for off road use only........honest

        You remove the battery & water container. Do one at a time.

              I wired my spots from the battery to a seperate switch it was easier as your wiring loom needs to be upgraded to add extra lights as it may not cope.

                  Hello from Swindon!

                  Drivers side headlight, look for the thin green wire with a red stripe, this is the high beam wire.
