Steam clean & electrics

I need to get my engine bay steam cleaned so that I can trace the source of an oil leak. I notice that there is a sticker on my alarm box to say to protect from water when cleaning.

Do I need to cover anything else in there? I'm thinking batteries and fuse box particularly.

As long as they are reasonably careful not to aim the jet directly at electric bits it should be ok. I regularly jet wash my engine bay (batteries included) with no ill effects so far

But dont forget to keep the preasure down near the radiators
