I get 17.5 mpg with a 1350kg caravan on tow, Just keep a close eye on the temp gauge if climbing any hills.

I got 21mpg fully loaded, towing a 1300kg caravan in France last year - speed generally around 60-65mph.

Solo on a run we can get 30mpg BUT pottering about town it's a hell of a lot less !

I've found that a dose of Redex in every tankfull helps a lot - never bothered to take any measurements though cos we don't use it much at the moment and the driving is VERY mixed ......

Life is too important to take seriously !

Never really check it solo, whenever I'm on a run I tend to have the van on the back thats the only time I fill it up and can do a check but a rough estimate would be around 25.

                    Hi
On average I do about 6.5km/L around town (I think my injectors are buggered) but I get around 9km/L on long runs. Can anyone convert this to MPG for me?

Hey! Many thanks for working that out for me! You're up bright and early!

It's not as bad as I thought so thanks for setting my mind to rest.

                          Hi Enzo,

Roughly you are doing 18 1/2 around town, and 25 1/2 on the long runs, which doesn't sound that bad.

Not too bad considering all the $$$$ that I've got bolted to my truck! Problem is we're travelling back to Zim for Xmas and tents, fuel, water, 2 x spare wheels etc will bring the GVM back up to 3 tonnes and the MPG way down!
