seems associatecd to the angle of the car ???@??? or how hard you rev it. Any one know if its the same light as for the brake wear warning ?

Your handbrake is not fully in.... when you brake the momentum is pushing it forward making the contact,,accelerate and breaks the contact. happened to mine and just wants a bit jiggling at the bottom end

    Nothing to worry about

On the 2nd gens (well mine anyway) there is no visual wear indicator for the pads. On the pads is a little metal bracket and when the pads wear down enough this touches the disc and makes a lovely squealing noise.

Its also a low vacuum warning light, as well as hanbrake on and low fluid.

Was the vacuum a dealer option in Japan? I dont think mine's got it, it's always filthy inside!
