Nice to see that rig again, I used to show my old pick up along side this truck years ago at various shows around the country (before a divorce forced me to sell it (bitch)) wonder if Malcolm still owns it.
Its brought back some great memories thanks for the pictures.

Cool, but you call it a Surf in the title, just to be politically correct, i would say its a mark iii Toyota Hi-lux. Thought i'd better get that in before you got sued by the pick-up fraternity...oops...thats me! Damn, another money making scheme foiled!!!

@ Donk, When it first got lifted onto 44” tyres it still had the standard 2.4 diesel without the turbo. Man was it slow off the mark. Didn’t have the trailer back then though.

I got some old photos somewere of some of the other trucks around at the time ill see if i can find them.
