Hmmmm - I thought that was a commercial vehicle classification - mine, although very dirty, isn't in the least bit commercial....

I think its a general term for private vehicles. I have a road legal quad bike which is also classed as PLG !!!!!

Yeah, PLG is any car or van up to 3500kg MAM for road tax valuation.
Log books veriy though, 4x4's are classed as Estate's and some as Light Utility Vehicle, depends who originally regestered it.
