I'm a Dorset guy too (Mudeford) ! Bet your Surf sounds sweet with a big ole V8 in her? Whats the crack with land cruiser springs I have'nt heard or thought of that mod before, you get much lift?

My vote goes to 'Uninsurable' no contest.

sorry to say this guys,but its insured as a 3.5 litre v8.without taking the engine apart and measuring the bore and stroke,there is no visible way of telling what cc it is.so the stroker kit is stealth so to speak.they didnt ask me what power it produces,just by what percentage has the power gone up from the original 2.4.and the price,£400 notes fully comp.i thought that was pretty good.

I was kind of assuming it was insured , not very funny if it's not.

You could pretend it isn't. Just write 'take care, uninsured vehicle' on the back. Might attract plod though...
