I found a South African site that makes rooftop tents that fold out like a folding camper. They have a glass fibre centre roof, canvas sides and a solid floor. They fit onto the roof rail points on most 4x4's. The beds can stay made up when it is collapsed flat. Entry and exit is via the sunroof. Unfortunately I didn,t save the pics when I reformatted my hard drive. DOH!

You could fit a Tail Lift for the dogs. Shhhhh, don't tell the RSPCA I said that.

                        is that from 1getfit.com?
i bought a tent from them, while they're ok if on offer, they're a bit cheap looking!
mine does exactly what it says on the tin, but i was a bit dissapointed!
rather than a £400 tent reduced to £150 it's actually what you'd expect for £150.
nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!

it's from eDirectory.co.uk but it's the same as 1getfit, they are still selling it for £400 though. as long as it keeps us warm ish and dry from the rain it will do for the odd week away. Is it exactly the same as yours ??

we decided not to go for the ones that attach to the truck as they don't seem to have much room in them and we need extra bedrooms for the kids. They are also near enough the same price as we have paid.
